I am proud and humbled to have been elected as the new Borough councillor for Handside ward. Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council now comprises 26 Conservative, 12 Liberal Democrat and 10 Labour councillors.

If you voted for me, then thank you. If you didn’t vote for me then please be reassured that my collegue, Gemma and I are determined to listen and represent you. We met and talked with many of you during the campaign when you raised your concerns with us. We intend to continue calling round and look forward to speaking to you very soon. We are aware that we will face many challenges as we learn the ropes, but we are committed to working hard to strengthen our community and are determined that Welwyn Garden City's voice is clearly heard when priorities are chosen and decisions are made.
