Change in senior management at Hertfordshire County Council

Three of Hertfordshire County Council's senior management team will be leaving the authority over the next nine months and the team will be restructured.

Chris Sweeney, the Director of Finance, will leave at the end of March, Alan Warner, the Director of People and Property, will leave at the end of May, and Andrew Laycock, the County Secretary will go at the end of October.

The three posts will now be deleted and replaced with two new posts, Director of Resources and Performance and Director of Strategy and Partnerships.

The current Director of Communications, John Sellgren, will become Director of Strategy and Partnerships, taking over part of the work of the departing directors. The council will recruit for the post of Director of Resources and Performance.
