Peartree Lane post office will stay open.

You will probably have read that the Peartree Lane Post Office is not marked to be closed - for now. Thanks to everyone who handed in petition forms on election day.

The closure programme was started by the Conservatives, and has been enthusiastically carried on by Labour. But if any Post Office is 'saved', then another one is closed. And Labour plan many more closures yet, as they try to make the network 'profitable', regardless of its effect on people.
