Tony inspects some of the damage caused by flailing instead of pruning.

... by flailing, like some lazy farmers do out in their fields.

We expected the council would do it properly, by pruning.

Yet in Osborn Way, just yards from WGC town centre, they have used the cheapest ugliest way of doing the job.

This is the first time the plants have been cut back. The council were told to do something because the shrubs were doing damage to vehicles passing along this road ! Tony Skottowe has stepped in and eventually received an assurance that this type of pruning will not be used again in a sensitive location.

Can you help us keep a look-out to ensure this promise is kept?
