Everyone will remember Daniel Cooke, who was elected to the District Council. When Daniel died tragically, Tony Skottowe stood for the same seat. Tony is a longstanding local Liberal Democrat who has been on the District Council before. Tony will fight to promote the same issues as Dan.

Tony says:

"I pledge to deal quickly and effectively with all letters, e-mails and calls.

"I will keep in touch all year round, with regular newsletters and advice surgeries.

"I will listen to the views of local residents, will work with local residents and community groups, will try to ensure that your council gives you value for money.

"I will help to return civic pride to Welwyn Garden City."
